Call for Participation

Sculptors working in 3D digital formats are invited to submit both rendered image files of digital sculptures for publication on the exhibition website (.jpg and .gif) and pre-processed stereolithographic files (.stl) for production using fused deposition modeling (FDM). Selected works will be fabricated for a physical exhibition in the PRiSM lab.

Files are being accepted NOW for consideration for inclusion in the PRISM archive and TeleSculpture 2007. Uploaded works will be accepted from October 26 through the end of the exhibition on December 16, and physical sculptures will be displayed as they are produced.

Full credit to you, the artist, will be given on a title card in the physical exhibition as well as a web gallery, so be sure to include full details about the piece and pertinent biographical information about yourself.

The fabricated objects and the web gallery of all submissions will become part of the permanent collection of TeleSculpture events dating back to 1999.

There is no cost to participate in the event.

Upon submitting files to TeleSculpture, participating artists understand that their work will be included in the PRISM archive, and may be used by PRISM for educational and promotional purposes. In addition, any objects rapid prototyped by PRISM for the TeleSculpture 2007 exhibit will become part of the PRISM archive.
